Meet the team

Hooman Farnejad is the founding Director of ParsEnergy Ltd with nearly 40 years of international experience. He has held executive roles in major oil companies like ExxonMobil and Marathon Oil, national oil companies such as Qatar Energy, and multilateral organisations including the World Bank and OLADE.

Mr. Farnejad has advised governments in Africa, Asia, and Latin America on energy access, resource efficiency, subsidy reform, sustainable development, and governance.

His team has significant expertise in negotiating complex M&A transactions, delivering transformational value for clients and optimizing corporate strategies.

Hooman holds an LLM in Petoleum Law & Policy (Dundee University), an MBA (Aberdeen University), a Finance certification from London Business School, and a BSc in Chemical Engineering from Surrey University. He also collaborates with academic institutions and lectures at City St George’s and Greenwich Universities.
